The BI-026 is a wide flat-arm safety stirrup in polished stainless steel with a broad open frame, flat tapered arms, and a wide deep-ribbed black rubber tread. Where conventional stirrups use round tubular arms, the BI-026 features wide, flat-sided arms that taper elegantly from the broad tread frame up to the eye — a design that provides passive safety through geometry. The generous width of the frame and the flat arm profile create a more open foot environment, allowing the foot to slide free more easily in a fall compared to a narrow round-arm stirrup, without requiring any mechanical release mechanism.
