The BI-040 is a traditional Portuguese stirrup in high-polish stainless steel, sharing the bell-shaped arch and crown top of the BI-038 but with a distinctive two-bar open oval tread featuring diagonal engraved detailing. The wide pear-shaped bell arch and multi-notched crown leather slot are hallmarks of the authentic Iberian stirrup tradition, while the tread design sets the BI-040 apart — a clean open oval divided by a single central crossbar into two elongated openings, with diagonal slash engraving around the tread rim that adds a refined, understated decorative touch.
