Sharing the same proven rubber barrel joint shock-absorption technology as the BI-042, the BI-045 steps up with a significantly wider tread footbed — a broad black rubber insert with a raised square stud grip pattern that spans a larger surface area, distributing foot pressure more evenly and providing a more secure, confident platform underfoot. The polished stainless tread housing frames the wide rubber insert cleanly, and the single integrated oval eye keeps the leather attachment simple and reliable.
