The BI-0178 is a Kimblewick bit with a brass double-jointed lozenge mouthpiece, open-work D-ring cheekpieces, and a curb chain. The full brass mouthpiece features a prominent lozenge centre link that eliminates the nutcracker action of a single joint, distributing pressure evenly across the tongue. Brass naturally encourages salivation and bit acceptance, making this an excellent choice for horses that are fussy or resistant. The stainless steel open-work D-ring cheekpieces with two oval cutouts reduce weight and add an elegant two-tone finish.
